Four giant DMPF units begin their journey from the Port of Melbourne to the desalination plant site. -
DMPF units pass through St Kilda. All loads are transported at night time to minimise impacts to other road users. -
DMPFs are escorted by pilot vehicles and traffic control teams to ensure the safety of other road users. -
Reverse osmosis racks are installed inside the reverse osmosis building. The racks will hold ultra fine membranes that will separate salt from seawater. -
Foundations and formwork on one of the 29 buildings that make up the desalinaiton plant site. -
One of three turbo circulators being constructed in the lime treatment building. -
